The Snowy Sunday Reading Tree

This year I partnered with Tree Classics on our reading tree. We placed this Alpine White Christmas Tree  in the office because it’s at the front of our house with windows facing the street. You can also see the tree from the kitchen and family room as well as the guest bedroom, so its in the perfect spot!  I’ve never had a white tree before and when I set it up, I almost cried. It’s the most beautiful tree and my absolute favorite of all time. I already have so many ideas for the coming years on how to decorate it! The possibilities are endless!

Since the tree is so gorgeous I really wanted to add some unique color to the decorations.  So I decided on doing a peacock theme. It was fun incorporating peacock feathers and ornaments to go with the theme! I even found some adorable little peacock friends to clip on the tree!

Because reading is so important to us we always have a reading tree. Underneath are 23 books, wrapped and numbered, waiting to be opened. Each night starting on December 1st our children choose the book for that night, unwrap it and dad reads it to them. On Christmas Eve my dad reads “The Night Before Christmas”. It’s really my favorite tradition during the holidays.

Make sure to stop back by for a tour of the rest of the house! I have so much more to show you!

Stop by and see how other fantastic bloggers decorated their gorgeous trees! Visit French Garden House, Housepitality House, Shabbyfufu and Southern Hospitality on the tour.

And be sure to visit Tree Classic’s Facebook Page as they visit several homes showcasing some great ideas!
